I've just scanned in 32 pictures from the wedding Karen and I had in California in 2005.
There are many more wedding photos, but these were the black and white film photographs that Karen's good friend, Brianna Walsh took.
Check out my favorites after the jump.
Turkey invaded northern Iraq some time last night to hunt down Kurdish rebels*, and this hilarious photo was one of three the BBC posted to help us irenic hipsters imagine the event.

What the fuck are they wearing? They look like they're part of the Stay-Puff Brigade, about to invade Gum Drop Mountain.
*Kurdish separatists = the Itchy to Turkish nationalists' Scratchy. Kurds, like ethnic Albanians in Serbia (until a couple days ago), Palestinians and the majority of the Armenian people, have been denied a state; Kurds live in Syria, Iraq, Turkey, and probably New York City. None of this explains the huge puffy backpacks in the photo.
Here is a portrait of Karen that I took tonight:
I wasn't sure if I should acknowledge the fact that I haven't really written here since August, or if I should just keep writing as though I had never been away.

Where was Ryan when this photo was taken?

So, I'm here...at the worst hotel in Omaha, Nebraska. Its not so bad actually, I mean it has wireless. I have been looking like mad for something interesting to do in Nebraska, but the coolest thing I can find is Carhenge and thats 7 hours away...so, thats a no go. P.S. The Faint is from Omaha but then again so is Bright Eyes, so they kind of cancel each other out.

I am currently live blogging (that is one of those made up tech phrases, I mean when are you not "live blogging", you're alive, you're blogging) from the woods of Wisconsin. 56K dialup baby! Pictures and tales from the Crystal Waters of Minnesota, to the Cheese Factories Wisconsin, and even of the worst hotel in Omaha Nebraska to follow.
For more information on the woods
These are some of the artists whose work is appearing in the festival I'm producing. (Well, assisting in the production of, technically...) Anyway, I'm a fan. Check em out.

A small town in Maine is the best place to spend the fourth of July. Why? Because everyone is so pumped. There were pie eating contests for four days leading up to the fourth, an organ grinder complete with monkey puppet, an antique car show, an enormous book sale, bluegrass and cajun bands playing in the park gazebo, barbeques aplenty, a band of bagpipes, a carnival complete with Bloomin' Onions and a Tilt-a-whirl (the only two reasons to ever go to a small town fair in my book), an hour and a half long parade (mostly cars with "Sharon Drake Realty" or "Joe's Roofing" or "Gerald's Landscaping" signs taped on the side), fireworks shot off a boat on the waterfront, and of course, a woman walking her four pet ferrets each on it's own little leash. I love Maine.

To accomodate my cute dog, I am playing PS2 upside down and sideways. Also, if you look closely, you will see that my dog is spooning me.

He is cute.
So yes, we went to Boston and totally rocked it's world. (it wasn't very hard). We have many things to blog about, and I swear, Thats Plenty, we talked about you the whole time. To tide you over, here are some fun touristy snapshots.
