She smokes an incredible amount of pot. I recken her medical "problem" has somthing to do with her not being able to smoke pot in jail.

LOL that's what I said! I was talking to Karen and some other people about it and I said 'Well, I reckon with the amount of marijuana she consumes, she must've gone through pretty nasty psychological withdrawal from the stuff.'

Plus, while she was going through withdrawal she is spending most of her time alone, and Paris has almost no private time whatsoever. So she has to think for and about herself with no interruptions or outside stimulus while coming down from what is probably a several-year-long marijuana high.

Though she still has a ways to go - her press releases so far sound robotic and almost pathetic, like a plotting alcoholic vowing to never again touch the dreaded substance.

Once she renounces The Simple Life and starts talking in genuine horror about her self-obsession and lack of compassion for really anything outside of reach or line of sight, then maybe we'll see a reformed Paris who has had a true moment of revelation.

Right now I think she still views this whole thing as a terribly unjust and unpleasant but temporary setback and once she gets out she'll be ionizing all the grass she can get her mitts on while continuing on the most decadent, blissed-out solipsistic existence in the history of America.
