Worst Day of the Year?

Apparently, according to one study, this year, today (the 22nd of January) is statistically the worst day of the year. There's some nonsense study involving weather and debt etc. but I laugh in the face of their so-called depression, because, today folks, is the best day of the year so far.
1.I am still not smoking (as per my new year's resolution).
2.I am still not eating meat (see above).
3.I Completed a painting last night and made 15 drawings today at work.
4. Most exciting, a box of my belongings (paint, photos of my grandparents etc.) that has been lost in the Italian mail for over a year arrived in front of my door today, and was waiting for me when I got off of work.
Yes, today is a day of miracles.
How about you? Any unusually polar days for anyone else in internet land?

i missed lunch today because work was busy. so, yeah, worst day ever.
I had a bit of a rough day at work today but I learned something about myself. In certain work situations, I have very high standards and am deeply methodical, and when my methods are aborted and my standards are not met, I lose it a little bit and freak out.
Maybe everyone knew this about me already, but it's new to me. I really surprised myself. I got really impatient with a co-worker today, even to the point of yelling at him when he complemented me.
But even more surprising was that I lost my temper directly to/at the person that was upsetting me. Since my childhood, I've been extremely reluctant about displaying negative emotions vis-a-vis getting angry at someone specific to their face, and whenever I've slipped up a little bit on that front I've felt really awful and slipped in to depression for days.
But today I lost my temper and apologized but I feel okay now. This is a huge groundbreaking thing for me.
I guess it was a pretty bad day. But it's also kind of fun and exciting to discover things about myself that I never knew.
Stephen you are almost always right. However even when you are wrong, you are wrong in a very precise manner... except for that time you shook that computer above your head trying to get that loose screw out. That seemed kinda haphazard.
