Can I be the adult wearing these?
Okay, so, can thatsplenty be honest with me for a minute here? If you saw an adult (and for argument's sake, let's say that "adult" was me) wearing a pair of these, not just wearing them, but skating around on them, would you think, "Cool!" "Lame!" or "I don't care". Please check one. This will have an effect on my life. Thank you.

I've seen adults wearing them, and I thought it was pretty cool. You've seen people wearing them, haven't you? They just kinda lift their toes up and coast along.
Anyway, I vote yes. And when you get them, I'd love a demonstration. And a description of what it feels like. Do they take a long time to get used to? Do you ever have near-accidents? Stuff like that.

I almost wrote this exact same post. I keep seeing kids at the grocery store zooming around and I want in. Wikipedia was only moderatly helpful, and they seem $$$ for adults

Yeah, they're $60. But can I get $60 worth of skating/walking fun? I think so. I think so. (also, the moped. it's a 1976 Batavus. I still have to buy a heavy duty lock for it, and a thing of gas, and then I pick it up and zoom away. I will take pictures and post them when I do said things. (I already got my helmet. Consensus is it looks like the helmet a schizo kid would wear. It's white. And big.)
